Homemade Brownies! ❤

Today me and my friend Sarah decided to make some brownies. We chose to make Nigella's "Everyday Brownies".

Pre-heat your oven to Gas Mark 5.

You start by adding 150g of unsalted butter into a medium sized pan until it has melted. Then you add 300g of light brown sugar and stir until it has turned into a syrup type mixture. In another bowl sieve together 150g of plain flour, 75g of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda and a pinch of salt.. Fold the flour/cocoa powder mixture into the syrup mixture. Remove from heat. In a bowl or cup mix together 4 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour into the flour/syrup mixture and mix together. Add 150g of roughly chopped chocolate ( I just broke it into the squares ) and quickly pour in a non-greased brownie pan. Leave in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Cut into 16 squares and enjoy ❤.
